The first event I'm pleased to announce is an introduction to silk painting workshop on Saturday April 25th from 2-3:30 at Art Presence Art Center in Jacksonville. Class size is limited, participants will have the opportunity to paint a silk scarf (or two, if time permits). $50 per person, includes supplies, materials and post-production to create a hand painted silk scarf. Depending on time, there will be an option to paint more than one, for an additional cost per scarf. The silk scarves will be painted during the studio session, necessary post production work will be done by my self at my studio, finished scarves will be available for pick up at APAC on April 28th. The second event will be taking place prior to Mother's Day on Friday May 13 from 12-5 and Saturday May 14 from 12-4 at the Art Presence Art Center located at 206 North Fifth Street in Jacksonville, Oregon, on the grounds of the historic Courthouse. I will be presenting exclusive inventory and will also be available to consult with you for custom orders and provide style tips for my most versatile style, the hand painted silk Ruana.
