Save the dates and join us for two special events this holiday season!
The first of two trunk shows takes place on Black Friday, November 26th, (the Friday following Thanksgiving) at 980 Park Street, Ashland, Oregon from 11-6. The second event will be on the Winter Solstice, December 21st from 11-6.
These exclusive trunk shows will be showcasing two Oregon designers, Spirit Lount of Hawk Mountain Wool Studio, and Joy Light of Joy Hand Painted Silk. Featuring one of a kind fashion accessories that are made entirely by hand from pure silk and natural alpaca wool.
Spirit is a textile artist specializing in natural
fiber, with a strong emphasis on high quality
alpaca wool sourced from Thordarson Farms in
Redmond Oregon. One of a kind knitwear from
classic scarfs, fleece wraps and to hats and
hand wear, that is completely individual. Spirit's
knits are pleasantly textured and incredibly soft!
Joy's artisanal and heirloom silk
fashion accessories are defined by
hand made production and a low
carbon footprint, paired with timeless
designs that may be handed down
from generation to generation.
Both designers embrace modern luxury as simplicity, an escape from the dissonance of the industrial and media worlds into a world of peace and harmony. The beauty of this work is that it is for wearing. In the wearing it finds its purpose; transforming the wearer with its light, channeling human energy into a unique presence.
The event is also a food drive for Ashland Emergency Food Bank, your donation will enter you in a raffle to be held following the second event to be held in December.
Light refreshments will be served.
