I started painting silk in 1989 and have developed several lines that take their inspiration from my love of life and passion for beauty. All the scarves and ruanas are hand painted one-of-a-kind, signed and dated. Every design seeks to capture energy, enthusiasm and light. Combining vibrant colors and various techniques with the flowing texture of silk creates beautiful, affordable art for you to wear or display in your home.

Hand Painted Silk Scarves: Each scarf is individually painted by hand in my art studio in Ashland, using the finest French silk dyes, known the world over for their rich colors. Each piece is signed and numbered. Limited edition color palettes are seasonally inspired by nature. Scarves shown on our online catalogs are photographs of previously produced artwork that is similar to what you will receive with your order. Characteristics and care of silk: Silk is a natural fiber and subtle variations in the weave and texture of silk fabric is expected and desirable and are in no way to be considered defective. Delicate or hand wash in cool water with mild soap, hang to dry, iron while damp with hot iron, or dry clean.
